Workin on a 64 dodge we added an engine plate on an rb block. Oil pan hit the steering link, modified the link to clear now the pitman arm hits the TTI headers. We need an inch of clearance so we were going to space the k member 1/2" down. Car has adjustable upper a arms & lower struts so we have adjustability. My concern is movement in the k member, anyone else space their k member, any pics would be appreciated.

I've done it before on my buddy's 65 Dodge. We even went 1.5" to get a tunnel ram under a 5" scoop. You'll need the adjustable arms to get decent camber/caster. But it will work, ran the car to 140 MPH, no issues.
