Awesome Ideas.. You and I think alike.. Can't wait to see what other mods you have in mind.. Factory doesn't make it the way we want... we make it ourselves..LOVE the hood..

When you decide to quit, THAT is the moment when you would've succeeded..

Yes, that hood looks awesome. Great idea turning the car into a two seater.

Proportions are really good. It looks off but not really off so you do a double take as you're not sure it isn't stock.

If I can give my the rear wheel opening needs to be opened up into a 65 coronet shape and moved back a good amount and a minimal (2-3") roof chop would help a lot too.

coronet has half the wheel opening this car does.. as far as the roof i'd lay the rear glass down to match the angle of the trunk line

I like the idea of laying the back glass down to make more of a sweptback/ fast back shape, you are right it will work well with the deck lid design.

However lowering the roof profile 2-3 inches and discarding the vent windows with the "laying down of the back glass will get the proportions better with the shorter wheelbase.

Changes made in my quick sketch:

1) Rear wheel opening moved back, re-arched and widened for 18/20 wheels

2) Front wheel arch stretched back a bit for less round shape 17" front

3) Layed Down rear glass

4) Chop roof to recapture "correct proportion".

5)lose the vent window

6) Tighten and smooth rear bumper

7) look at it and realize that to do it on paper takes ten minutes in real life don't want to consider the hours of hard work.
