I am in the process of rebuilding my 1977 360 non A/C engine. The original fan, spacer and pulley have been misplaced but I will need a 7 blade, 18" fan instead of a 4 blade fan 18" dia. I have several possible part numbers from my parts manual 2863224 or 2863226 that are 7 blade. I believe the original fan was a four blade but it never did keep the engine cool like it should. Any one have more information I can use or know where I can find what I need? Thanks.

I don't have any idea what the part numbers belong to which fan, but I suspect one of them attach to the clutch fan for the AC trucks, and the other is the one you want, a straight 7 blade unit. There are also probably a couple of choices for the spacer length, you probably will need one in the 2" long range.

I presume you have corrected your overheating problem? The pitch on the 4 blade fans I've seen are pretty steep and they pull a lot of air when used with a shroud. I wouldn't necessarily blame the 4 blade fan for the truck running hot. Gene
