Working on a 72 Duster and I need a fender. Found a 73 with good fenders, will they interchange?

No, 72 is unique due to the early (1967-72) head light shape and the newer (1972-1976) marker light style hole

The 73 fender fits fine. You would need to make a small tab to connect to the steel panel that supports the grille.
The side marker lens is the same.

Yep, that's the difference, but if I were given the choice I'd turn a 70-71 fender into a 72 by patching and re cutting the marker hole before adding metal to make the lower panel.

Either way, if you want a direct, no modification bolt on part, the 1972 is on it's own.

Have a pair of 73's that are almost perfect. Shame they can't be used.

You CAN use the 73 fenders, it just takes a little fabrication to do it.

If I remember, the 73-76 fenders used a small piece below the grille that was held in by (2) phillips head screws that mated up to the different style lower grille panel.

Take those off (if they're on the fender), & the lower holes will be in the same place as on your 72 fenders.

You'll need to make, or take the brackets off of your fenders that hold the upper grille panel to the fender.
