I think the horn ring is the same for A and B body isn't it? The partial three spoke ring that was standard in Dart GT in 68.

What is everyone doing with these? I havn't seen repops. Where are you sending them to get them restored? Any rough estimates on what it costs to have them done? I know the starting condition will have a big impact on cost and final outcome.

My piece isn't pitted very bad but I'm not going to leave it like that. I had an idea that wouldn't cost much...if it would work.

When I had my fasteners zinc plated, a few of the really small screws didn't take the plating for some reason. They ended up putting them in the "nickle" tank. Would this work on the horn ring?

If I sanded out the pitts and smoothed it out the best I could, would the "nickle" stick to the pot metal? Would it even survive the acid bath and plating process?
