Any current Dodge/Ram techs on here that may know this info? I have a 2011 Ram 1500 sport with power cloth/leather front bucket seats. I found a pair of 2011 power, heated/cooled leather seats for sale and have some questions.

1. The seller says the airbags are removed, which I assume is for liability reasons. Could I swap in the airbags from my current seats? Leather would be nice, but not at the price of safety.

2. Since my truck has power seats, I am assuming the harness is the same and the new power seats would function as they should.

3. Since my truck does not have heated/cooled seats, I don't have the factory switches. I'm not concerned about the cooling, but heat would be nice. Is that powered through the same harness, and is there a way to wire in a switch to make them work like with the Mopar aftermarket heated seat kit?

Thanks in advance!

Darren

As long as your seats have the side airbags I don't see why they wouldn't.
As for the heated seat portion, IIRC there controlled by modules on the network. Like having the correct radio and correct wiring/related modules to control it and adding it to the vehicle build configuration. This is just off the top of my head.
