Mayby I asked this in the wrong forum before. I'm replacing the trunk mount battery with an under-hood set-up. Original has been gone for many years. Who has the most accurate reproduction? This is on a 70 Challenger R/T Convertable, so it's important to be accurate. -Pat

There are a lot out there. AMD (Stephen's Performance, etc.) has them, as well as a number of others. I believe they are all the same.
It was an item that Mopar continued to make so there are a lot around.
To the very discerning eye there is a slight difference from the originals, but once you lay a battery on it you can't see it anyways.

Saw some from at least two different manufacturers. Just didn't want one that was cheaply made or too thin. Saw AMD and Goodmark.

There are at least 2 different OEM stampings.
One may be 70 only?
