Just wanting some suggestions before I take a look at it this weekend. The wipers on my '93 Caravan don't work on intermittent setting, nor do they 'park' anymore. On low speed or high speed, they work fine. When you turn them off, they stop where ever they're at. With the wipers on intermittent, I can hear a relay up under the dash cycling as if the wipers were working. A few weeks ago, the wipers had frozen to the windshield and I didn't realize it until they popped loose when I turned them on. Could I have killed something at that moment? The wipers worked fine for a couple of days after the incident. Oh, if it makes a difference, the washer works, but the wipers don't come on like they used to. If I hit the washer, I have to turn the wipers on. Thanks guys.

Well, I got another motor off a low mileage wreck (rear ended) at the JY. No different. After removing my old motor, I was kinda surprised it still worked at all. The housing where the windings are was loose and banging the motor on my hand caused funk to come out. Motor from the wreck looks new especially compared to my old one. Honestly, I'm not good at diagnosing stuff like this. I'll check to see if power is reaching the motor while in delay, but, what else can I check? Thanks again.

As I said that would be an over the internet guess ? I agree to try another ground but the other motor if kinda new shound have a good ground strap. But grounds can fool you as it could find a ground feeding back through one of the circuits. Other then that your still guessing unless you get the wireing scematic and test the circuits and wires. You can see how it works with the wireing book and you can check the switch and the body controller for proper voltage , grounds and ohms in its circuits as the body controller should control the intermittit wipers on your Caravan. Sure if you have a switch and want to try it but I hate to see you buy a switch or body controller just guessing. You can also test the park circuit with the wireing book to be sure its working right in the motor you swapped in unless you already checked it on the other car. Sometimes I had wire ends pull partway out of the connector also. Its tuff to tell you more over the internet other then the motor was the problem I used to see the most but the switch or body controller can also cause the problem. If your not sure how to check it out do you a friend who is a good tech and can check it for you ? Ron
