How hard is it to put a challenger 70 grill on a 72 challenger ???????

I know this has come up in the past. You might can do a search to find it. IIRC, you will need to replace the fenders, bumper, Maybe valance and Hood latch part. It's not an quick/easy changeover.

LOTS of parts will need to be changed.
Your best bet is to stick with the correct year
parts on your car.

Its really not that hard at all. What you need to find is some buckets from some junk fenders or they sell repro ones but could be costly. Then all you will need the headlight cups and their spring screw kits. Then you need the grill, bezels, and the correct hood trim to match the anodized finish...

I put one in my 73. I removed the headlight buckets out a rusted 70/71 fenders. drilled out all the spot welds, they line up easily in the 72/74 fenders. You have to trim the hood pad adjuster stud as they hit the newly installed buckets. I made a template off the old fenders to add the 3 headlight bezel screw mounts. It required a little bending and welding a couple tabs. No big deal. PM me if you need more info.
