I believe you also have a 540" HEMI. Have you had issues with intake gasket leaks?

It's nice to have a unexpected "free" day to get it all buttoned up

Thanks for giving the Superformance gaskets a shot

I had my Stage V head intake surface machined for o-ring material, no gasket required.

Where did you find the correct size one piece rectangular shaped o-rings to fit around the ports?

You go to the local hydraulic hose supply and buy the diameter raw stock of O ring in a role and make your own O rings in the square hole, glue the ends together with Super Glue The heads need to be machined for the proper depth and I.D. for the Oring material you want to use I'm trying to remember what we needed to do to keep the trash out between thw intake ports between the heads and intake, blower manifold

easy way to see what is going on. oil can be seeping up through the gasket and down the runner into the cylinder, but the constant flow of gas washes the runner relatively clean, so it's hard to tell if any oil is getting by or not.

put some dye in the oil, the kind that is meant to check for leaks. pull a carburetor and look down into a port with a black light, and if you see any of that glow, then oil is getting through.

kind of tough to get your head and the light at the right angle, but the dye responds well to the black light, so you will be able to see it.
