looks similar to the one in my 65 Cuda. Don't have a part number though.
They say there are no such thing as a stupid question. They say there is always the exception that proves the rule. Don't be the exception.

Yep. Certainly for a 65 Barracuda and may fit 65 Valiant. Those cars shared many parts since the early Barracuda was Valiant based.

i thought the valiant's had totally different dash treatments - more taxicab-ish from what I've seen - the barracudas might be specific... i think they are but could be wrong.. I know they were different in '66 - just not sure about 65

Speaking just for the 64-66 Big Glass Barracudas, the Dash trim and cluster was different for each year. My understanding was that the dash trim was similar for the corresponding Valiant. Ex. 64 Valiant would have same Dash as 64 Barracuda. However, Canadian model Valiants did have different guages and dash trim than US models from what I have seen. Here is a photo linked from the early Valiant website. The photo is from the 1965 Valiant Brochure. You can see that the dash is the same as the 65 Barracuda. And the trim piece that Domingo is asking about can be seen through the spokes of the Steering Wheel.

No, it's not a Barracuda exclusive; it's for 65 Barracudas AND for 65 Valiant Signets and V-200's. It was not used on the Valiant V-100.
#2492 995: Instrument panel finish plate, left; fits V-H (V-200) and V-P (Signet and Barracuda); listed at p. 23-346 of the 65 passenger car parts catalog.
