Need cam specs for HIT 282-NC big block. Thanx

The advertised duration is 282 degrees intake, 290 degrees exhaust, as checked at .0029" tappet lift. Lobe lift is .3067" intake, .3236" exhaust. Gross valve lift with 1.6:1 rockers is .491" intake, .518" exhaust. With 1.7:1 rockers, it's .521" intake, .550" exhaust. Lobe separation is 114 degrees. The duration at .050" tappet lift is 226 degrees intake, 234 degrees exhaust. cam timing at .050" is: intake opens 4 degrees BTDC, intake closes 42 degrees ABDC, exhaust opens 56 degrees BBDC, exhaust closes 2 degrees BTDC.

For a big-block MOPAR, the HIT-282-NC is a hydraulic lifter grind with 282 degrees advertised duration on both intake and exhaust. Lobe lift is .3000", providing .450" gross valve lift with the standard 1.5:1 ratio rocker arms. The duration at .050" is 226 degrees on both intake and exhaust. lobe separation is 114 degrees. Timing at .050" is: intake opens 4 degrees BTDC, intake closes 42 degrees ABDC, exhaust opens 52 degrees BBDC, exhaust closes 6 degrees BTDC. Regards, Chase
