Does anyone know the correct part number for a 1969 383 4bl automatic distributor? The book I have lists part numbers for '68, but not for 1969. Thanks!

Thanks for the info, now I just need to find one. I would have thought a b-body with a 4bl would have had a dual point, but that might have just been on the 440's?

i want to say that in 69 only the 440 4 speeds had a dual point , even my 383 4bbl 4 speed b body has a dual point , but my 383 4 spd dart has a dual point .

Why there is a dual point on the A body only ????

Never seen a 68-69 383 auto equipped Dart or Barracuda with a dual point, only sinlge point. The 4-speed equipped cars did have dual points only.

The factory parts manual shows dual points for both the auto and 4-speed 383 A body.

I have the distributor you need, and am looking for a correct dual point for my 69 GTX. Question: Can a 69 Roadrunner auto distributor (2875731) be built into a 69 GTX 4 spd distributor (2875772)? Ie., are the bodies the same & can the internals be changed from single to dual point?

The 69 440/4bbl 4spd dual point dist is completely different from single points, this is what you are looking for, hard to find, especially with real tags and in good shape

The one I currently have is part number 2875750 which seems to be correct for a 383 4spd with single point and not for my automatic. Anyone know what the difference would be between the two? Thanks!
