Yes on the wedges, no on the spring

The original hoods have drop ears that align with the wedges. Some of the reproductions I have seen do not.

Thanks guys.. Its a AAR fiberglass Reproduction so i'll go look for the drop ears..

Should I run the repo AAR hinge springs or just go with-out like i currently am... The prop rod i have is getting old already

I think the aftermarkets are re-enforced better so a light spring doesn't warp them. If you run without make a couple hook that goes from spring attaching hook/groove to hook/groove in the length of the hinge when open. You can even paint it to match.
