Hi, I rebuildning my front end and have purchased a new raybestos idler arm to my 65 coronet.
In the kit its a flat washer!? When I disammbly the idler arm from the chassie and steering linkage I dont remember seeing any flat washer...
Could it be as usually these days that the assambly kits is all the same for a lot of years and cars.
Thanks, Anders

IIRC the washer goes on most and I think it goes on the bottom of the arm.My 65 didnt have one.I do know that a lot of them the piece on the frame gets squashed. Then you have to open it up a bit to get the new one in.Rocky

The washer is used only if needed i.e. the nut bottoms out before tightening the taper pin or the cotter pin hole is too high on the castle nut.
