Yes it is "brown" as compared to "tan" in 1970. The seat belts for E bodies in 1971 are also "brown" as opposed to "tan" for the deluxe ones in 1970. Tan being much lighter of a color. I do think that Chrylser called both years as "tan" in their dealer order books though.
