Ummm, top hose is kinked? There is one on C list near me with the same affliction, only a short/fat, think he is asking 3k for it also ... must be that gene swapping thing ... Along that same line, in 1982 I bought a '80 Chevy short/fat, with a really tired 429/C6 in it, decent truck but why put a smoking skipping junk off brand motor in it? But I had a fresh 454 ...

Actually 429's are a killer motor.....had one in a 78 F150 4x4 that was a beast....I bet in a li'l 2wd dodge would be a fun ride
Back in the day we built with what we could find cheap...to go fast and it was a blast

I get it on the engine, but that one was a TIRED wheezer, oil fouling the plugs in short order in the little while I drove it, and the installation left a little to be desired.
The day I pulled the 429 out, I power braked it, and managed to put on a big smoke show, between the oil smoke and tire smoke! I was hoping for an explosive finish, but no luck.
