98RAM1500 OP super stock 9 Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 1,176 Crockett ,TX	it was the water temp sending unit. The gauge would work then it wouldn't so replaced the temp unit & been working good since yesterday, idles good like its supposed to. Last edited by 98RAM1500; 02/02/14 12:33 PM.

The efi takes its own coolant sensor which is for the efi only.

98RAM1500 OP super stock 9 Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 1,176 Crockett ,TX	I ment to say the coolant temp sensor earlier (not water temp got my words mixed) & the truck has done went over 40-50 miles since & no problems idles fine, starts fine, no check engine light so idk
