Bill is it leafs or ladder bar, or 4 link? It will cost $2500 to get rid of the 8.75 Thats right around the power range where the 8.75 will give you problems. Nothing worse than having a bye into the semis and not being able to break the beams because the R&P are broke! After that it came out, I said to myself; "self you are never going to let an 8.75 do that to you again!" I used to pull the carrier twice a year to check it. But it got me towards the end of season. If you noticed someone else on here is selling a car, he swapped the dana that was in it for a 8.75 before the sale. My Don

Could sell you mine...Always wanted a tube chassis Cuda, but I got a back half Duster instead...Runs 9.90's on pump gas and will be ready for another season of racing very soon...
It seems its usually a better deal to buy one nearly done or previously raced than build new until you get to a certain point.
Would need to sell the season winning Duster first...
Have I got a tube chassis Cuda' for you!!!
Me too

Bill I would'nt want an 8.75 with a HARD hitting LB especially with a trans BREAK (pun intended)! See my post about losing because of 8.75. I still thank you for being involved with me buying my Barracuda! Thats a good example. To get where I wanted to be. I had to change EVERYTHING on the car! But I did it over several years. Don

Bill sounds like a good idea. Especially if you get it for agood price. Might be 1000 #s lighter....thats a second in ET I'm going to work on the 493 today. Pull the pan look it over change gaskets, etc. I think the Winter Nationals got me stirred up!
That and I'm tired of moving snow. One of these days I'll stop by if you are home? Don

Unless this car is a total POS you couldn't go wrong. If you had a free body you couldn't buy the parts for 5K, more less have it painted. Doug
