With those hedman 1&3/4 ones on a 383/400 the pass side fits with a minute amt of grinding down at the collector but the drivers side needs major mods, you need some 1&3/4 mandrel bends & do some cutting/fitting/welding but it still ends being a reasonable priced/good fitting deal even with the fabrication involved.

Way back in the 80s I used a set of Hedman headers in my 383 Dart, they were for a 69 roadrunner 383. fit great, no power steering six cylinder starter.
from what I read... that is right!!!

The TTI's for the big block A body are only 1 3/4" diameter & came w/ huge dents for clearance. Expensive w/ ceramic & thermal barrier coatings & I have the up for sale. May post them on ebay next week. Built a 451 stroker for my 383 4 spd formula S, so going to larger B body headers. www.bigblockdart has an article in the tech archives about B body headers in a 383 A body.
BBD is where I got my info
