Anyone tried these sparkplugs in their engine? I ordered some from Summit and going to try them in my 472 hemi. Hotrod TV or one of those shows tested them on a dyno and had a HP gain so I guess we will see. Bill

They say thats how the company started out but carried over to auto and motorcycles. Installed them and the hemi does seem to run alot smoother at low speeds like cruisin around town. Normally with the cam it jumps some when going under thirtyfive but now alot smoother, may even start and run a little better when cold. Time will tell. Bill

It is snake oil. There is only one spark, the E3 just give it more points to jump to, which means it lasts longer. It is the material that is used, like the new iridiums that actually allow for the transfer of electricity better.

There only $5.99 each so it wasnt like they were expensive. I run Platium splitfires in my truck and no difference felt. I do understand the ignition and sparkplugs. I have figured that on the splitfires it was kinda like indexing the plugs, the split electrode has a wider spark which exposes it to the intake charge better. The E3 I dont know but I did see dyno info on them and they gained about five HP which is not alot but I wanted to change my plugs and thought I would give them a try. I have a plain chrome box and mopar dist. that I have recurved. Im an electronic technician by trade. Bill

Horsepower TV is just as much junk as the E3 plugs. They're numbers are off on almost every project then it should. They built up a 440 a while back and was WAY off on what it should have been, and they screwed up the rods!
