I am planning on adding power windows and power door locks to my LRE. My question is should I stay with the 60 AMP alternator or should I also upgrade it to a 100 AMP alternator. If I go with the 100, is there anything I need to do. I added power windows and locks to my 73 Duster and they worked fine, but they were slow going up and down.

Thanks for any help, Larry

The 60 amp will be fine.

I would think, that unless your going to run the windows up and down constantly. Work the locks all the time, the 60 amp would give you plenty of power when you need it.
I would like to do the same thing (windows only though). Can you keep a photo journal of the process?
Right or wrong, just my :twocents
