I need to source headers for my 78 W150 PW. It has a 360. Summit has a affordable set "Flowtech" http://www.summitracing.com/parts/big-33500flt/overview/ Has anyone used these & do they truly fit. I recently purchased a 79 with headers and the frame was cut out for fit. I'm sure there is a manufacturer out there for the correct fitting headers. Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge. SLD

I ran Summits brand on 4 of my SB RamChargers.All fit quite well.Last set I had lasted abour 7 years.They got real rusty as I plowed with it and let it sit a lot.Ohio salt dosent do good things to a vehicle.Rocky

I just swaped to the 79170 on my 85 2x truck to fit the mini starter on the 93 NV4500 hydro bell.
the 79170 fit 2x or 4x4 trucks

my hedman BB hedders are 79250 the 79080 have both side goes striaght down, the 79170 have the pass side tube moved over to clear the drive shaft. on my 79080 with my hydro bell/mini starter #7 tube was in the way. the 79170 2x or 4x4 header moved #7 tube and has the tubes moved over for drive shaft clearance on pass side. I didnt see the ones nitro posted so not sure what they look like. here are the 79170

I looking at my 79250 in hand, they dont look like they will clear a front drive shaft on a 4x4 chassis
and they look like they will hang rather low/below the frame on a 2x chassis so I will see when the 440 truck drops the front end.

Last 3 sets we got from Summit were Hedmans.Just in a Summit box.Rocky
