One good thing about California's drought is we've been able to go drag racing a lot this year. Was fortunate enough to win pro at sonoma for the second race in a row today, which also makes 3 out of the last 4 events attended, going back to the vegas bracket nats. The sport is funny sometimes with how streaks happen.Gotta enjoy them while they last for sure.
I've got the car stupid consistent now...check out these slips from 1st to second round.A monkey could win in this thing!

Those are 2 slips, each showing my car, for first and second round. It ran identical to the thou for the first 4 incrementals, something I've never seen it do in 15 years of running it.

How much was the driver and how much was the car? How much weather change, if any, was there between those two runs? As you already said the first four increments where dead on Are you going the Las Vegas for the Spring Fling and MATS race? If so I'll try hard to not line up with you until the last round

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

Cab the driver had a decent day on the tree as well.Kept em in the low teen to low twenty range mostly which is what I shoot for generally. The weather stayed very steady all day.I'm sure other people saw similar consistency but thought It was cool to see those slips back to back. And yes I 'll be at the fling only. You comin down too huh? That race was fun last year and should only get better.

Yup, it definitely makes the drivers job easier Chris, along with added confidence which is everything.

Wow thats real good. 60's are dead on and very nice lites you cut. Here is my two runs from first and second rounds in Oct and I thought my car ran pretty consisdent but not as good as yours. But mine is a street car I drove the 45 miles to the track that day. My car is #201 and my lites are no where near as good as yours as you can see thats why I lost in the second round as my brothers .012 killed my lazy .078. But that was the first time I raced in almost 2 years. You and your car did a great job. Ron

Congratulations Jeff!! No way a glide could be better than a TF in a heavy car like that I think with the glide you will notice the consistency is much better. Just what those guys in pro need is you being more consistent

Time to put that box back in it and come run S/Pro again. The money is better.

You know Al I thought it was pretty consistent before but man your right, it's way better now.Kinda boring to drive but I'll take the trade off.
I don't know about super yet.Money's not that much better at least locally anyway, and I feel I have a better advantage in pro being the faster car most of the time.
