This is my 37, is mine stock? If so it seems you can't change the headlight without tearing up the paint. Where did that chrome trim come from?

Yes, yours is stock. There were a few companies that also made sealed beam conversion kits for the 35-38 commercial models that came with a new and larger ring.

Looking closer at your picture it appears that yours has been modified and is not a factory stock non-sealed beam (reflector and replacable bulb). Your buckets also look like they are from a sedan or coupe and are not commercial (panel, pickup). Its difficult to tell from the picture.

To me, this light actually looks like the lights used on the old snow plows! Might be the picture, but it really doesn't look like the contour matches up at the attaching point like the pictures from the other truck does. It also looks a little smaller/shorter. Gene

Yours been modified. Stock only has thin stainless trim ring. You just push and twist to pop the lens and guts out. It's spring loaded.

The big chrome trim in first pic is definitely not original.
