I finally got past the holidays, and also some weather warm enough where I can go to the garage and start assembling the front suspension for my B-body disk conversion. As some of you might know, during my efforts at seperating the upper ball joint from the steering knuckle I pretty much destroyed the boot to that ball joint. While I got a new set (upper and lower boots), it doesn't come with instructions as to which goes where. One set is about 5/16" taller than the other set- so which set is meant for the upper ball joint and which set is for the lower? I *think* PST made this set if it helps (special ordered from O'Reilly, and I think that's where they said they were getting them from)....
Thanks!
David
Edit- by the way, are the torque values listed in the '69 B-body FSM for the disk knuckle the same for the disk knuckle for a Diplomat?
Edit 2- it's not PST- it's Energy Suspension. Part number 5.131026. A link:
JEGS Unfortunately it doesn't say which is which, either..
