Did you make the hubs too Andy? Nice job!

Wouldn't it be nice if these hubs were for sale so you could make you're own setup...

Someone should make a kit, maybe for gen 3 calipers and mustang wheels...

Not enough people would buy the hubs to make it worthwhile. I made hubs for awhile and then gave up. Almost everyone who ever contacted me about hubs wanted custom offset or some other change made to the hub and they wanted it a price which was lower than my manufacturing cost. Not exactly any reason for me to subsidize everyone else's project car when I have a project of my own to work on so I stopped making hubs.

Helps having a mill and lathe in the garage though.

That is like cheating..

Brads70. What are you using? Looks good. You made your own hub?
Andy, you should have told em stock location it is...make your rim custom.
I guess locating drum spindles looks to be the easiest way to get it done for a large rotor.

I ave one of andy's hubs from his 13" kit, if I remember it's 3/4" longer so you can run the stock mustang wheels because they are cheap like borshe

I'm making another batch of fully machined forged aluminum hubs right now. I can sell them separately, but everyone seems to want a custom offset or register diameter.

What will they cost? Without the bearings, hub cap... They bearing size will be stock (for the 73 knuckle) I presume?

I used a 73 C-Body spindle and rotor.

Bearings, caps and studs are included. You can choose hubs to fit '72 and older, or '73 and newer spindles.

Register diameter is 2.780". Hub nose diameter is 2.700".

I haven't figured pricing yet.

I see now you have an adapter for bolt pattern. Do tie rod and ball joints match to the e body?

Could you let us know? A piece of machined forged aluminum couldn't be that expensive

I used a 1/2" spacer, http://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/aaf-all44121/overview/

ball joints upper and lower match the body. You have to slightly machine the lower ball joint holes to match the e-body ball joint. Outer tie rod is a Howe quick bump kit.
Here is a link to what I did step by step?

can a hubless rotor just be used on an e / b body drum hub? Seems like that could be a cheap way to go w/o having to get new spindles if you have a drum brake car. Add a pair of adapters and calipers and the big items are done..

Sure, just find a rotor with the right height for your setup..taking into accout what caliper and wheel you want to run, carve up a bracket and go for it.

I just got them back from the machine shop.

Looks like they run $260 pair, assembled.

Hey Cass!
I hear you sell 13" rotors with aluminum hats?
You never told me about those!
I would have bought them instead!
