You will need to get the correct install kit also.

Have not even ordered it yet. Was wanting some input first.. I put one in my 1970 Duster and I didn't use the adaptor that I ordered with it. I liked the way it looked without it..

I did the swap in my '84. I have a tilt column so it may be a little different but I had to use a spacer kit. Since the tough wheel is flat without the spacer your knuckles rub the turn signal lever.

I have had my Tuff Wheel on my 74, 85, and now 83 trucks. Although they all were 4x4's it is the same swap. Just get an original adapter and you will be fine

416 stroker from Nick at Compu-flow. 11.14 in full street trim. Seems like a new best every time out.
11.06 open headers----so far!!

I have been looking for one for my '78 D150 too but the Grant website says the Classic Nostalgia #846 Tuff wheel "does not fit my application".
Do you know the specific kit number that makes this work?
