How hard and what is the process to replace the quarter glass seals?

Do you have to remove the chrome channel, slide or glue in?

Thanks

I'm thinking I should just transfer the chrome channel with weatherstripping to the new glass.
How would I go about removing and reinstall the channel?
Any tips or how to's?

Thanks

Those stainless trim strips are retained to the glass with a product known as "glass setting tape". A rubber product that swells when saturated with oil to grip the glass tightly. You can work it off by gently rocking it back and forth, or using a wooden paint stick pry gently as well. A rubber mallet will help here too. You shouldn't have to remove this stainless just to replace the weatherstripping however.

Remove the seal, Stand the window up in a pan deep enough to submerge the end of it in something like acetone. After a bit you can start trying to slip a thin piece of steel (think bondo spreader) between the glass and trim piece on both sides. Soak some more. it will eventually cut loose.
Someone else may have a better method but this has worked for us
