Lightning OP enthusiast Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 229 Augusta, GA	I have a dumb question: why aren't there any gears made/sold for a Dana 60 below a 3.54 out there? is it something about the parts and the clearances? or just not a market for it? thanks guys!

astjp2 master Joined: Jan 2011 Posts: 4,785 Utah and Alaska	There is, but you need a dana 61 to get the 3.07 gears, its because of the distance that the pinion needs to be offset from the ring gear. People get 61's once in a while thinking its a 60 and normal gears wont work in those housings. Do a google search.
