Here is a picture of what is in the area over the visor on the drivers side. It should be the wiper motor but I do not know what is all missing from in there. Next to the wiper motor towards the drivers door is another square open area with what looks to be some kind of box with nothing in it. I was wondering what is all missing so I can start hunting for parts. It has rained so much here I need a wiper on the truck.

I am in Midland just north of Columbus. I guess I am going to pursue the electric motor swap for the wiper..

Yup that's the wiper motor. You don;t appear to be missing anything, the wiper motor is self contained. As far as the other opening, they are there to provide access to the windshield hinges.

Mine has a vacuum line going to it, is it vacuum powered?

You're missing the second part of the windshield hinge. And yes, wiper motor is powered by vacuum

What turns it on and off? Anyone have a picture of what this looks like and where the vacuum goes to?

Very small vac line goes to it from the engine.

There is actually a little slide lever to turn the motor on/off.It's on the motor and protrudes through the overhead cover few inches to the left of rear view mirror.
