Hello everone I just thought I would try to post a pic of my coupe and say hi,I'm new to the site and just posted a question in the resto fourum regarding 440 detailing for my GTX.Then I saw theres a street rod section too.COOL.The car is all steel it has a 440 sixpac with a torqueflight and 3.55 suregrip. The front suspension is from street rod engineering with a chrome tilt idiot coulum.

X2. There's no cure for the Moparts addiction . Welcome to the board and that is a very fine ride you have there. I had a 35 Plymouth coupe project but now I'm working on aquiring a 36 Dodge pickup

Does the Dodge/Plymouth cars share the same sheet metal? Does my 37 Plymouth truck share the same front sheet metal as the cars?

The hood and fenders are different although I have heard of guys using the fenders with modifications. 36-37 pickup grill shells sure look like the 36 coupe and sedan but I can't speak for actual fit. I do know that you can't take a car grill shell with the radiator support and interchange it to a pickup as the pickup core support has an offset that is not seen on the sedan or coupe.

Here's a pic of the engine.I know it's got a Chevy alternator on it,it just worked out that way and I wanted a one wire simple install.

Nice rid, MORE PICS please. I usually have pics ready but my site went down and I have to rebuild it this weekend.
I have a 38 Plymouth business couple and really want a 5.7 HEMI in it. But I stare at a 600 HP 500 stroker sitting in my shop every day and have a 440-6 in my 70 cuda vert. Its tempting to think of this huge stroker in that 38? More pics.

Dave
