Why do you want to change heads?

According to Hooker headers you will have spark plug clearance with RPM heads using 2" super comp headers. I had clearance problems with 1 3/4" super comp headers on the #1 plug. Look at TTI headers

I ran the #5209 and the #5903 Hooker headers using the Edelbrock angle plug heads. The spark plug clearance was fine. The tubes hit other stuff though....

Yeah, why?

There is a straight plug version of the Eddys too, but they cost more.

Had one on the dyno today. RPM heads and 2" Super Comps. Number one plug the owner used a piece of insulating material to keep from burning. Number three had a slight clearance dent with insulation.
He drove it for a couple years with no burnt wires.

Edelbrock heads are made for tti 2" headers. Sparkplug clearance is excellent.
