So if it's that way,just have to hit the grinder wheel with the rubber & washer? The posted pic is without a gasket.When I glued the gasket on it wouldn't fit properly.I might still have to drop the shock stud to remove the cover,that's why I was thinking of eliminating the stud from the engine bay
HEMI-ITIS has no cure. My condition is fully BLOWN!!

I agree. Done this before and it's super easy.
With the angle change it doesn't interfere with the vc removal.
