THis is from a 74 Charger I looked at today. First anyone know what the top numbers are?

Second this car is a stripper but had 2 tags second tag had the numbers 1 thru nine in 2 rows at the bottom with holes punched thru some numbers.

Lynch road option tags are all like that.

Gate / line sequnce numbers, etc.

The second tag is just an inspectors tag.

The top row contains the gate/base and sequence numbers like Barry said. The next numbers are the engine, tranny and axle codes.

518= Engine: B,E body 318-2bbl with AT and A/C
182= rear axle code
843= Tranny: A,B,E body 904 behind a 318/early code

Pretty standard LR tag.
