Just curious as to what some of your cars weigh relative to the E.T's. I know there's been a lot of talk about weight savings lately and I was just curious to see how those weight savings relate to E.T and how streetable the cars are respectively.

Calvert springs, stock height I think, and 315's on 15x10 rims. I think I have a couple more pics of it somewhere with smaller tires on the front. PM me your email if you want. I may be selling the springs and caltracs, only have half a dozen weekends at the track on them.

Tucson AZ,
Pretty impressive E.T's considering the weight of some of these cars and "truck" . I've been going back and forth wondering how much E.T. is lost while trying to maintain a stock appearance street car. Some impressive numbers for sure.

To get the most you can out of any combination you need to make every part from the front bumper bolts to the rear bumper bolts work the best you can get them to, motor, converter, tranny, exhaust, ignition, fuel delivery, front and rear suspension and so on Test, test and then tests some more

... Even if I'm starting to beleive that nothing makes my car faster. Even proven, cut and dry upgrades that should

My race car is just that, a race car so no it doesnt
go on the street... but its 2405# with me.. have been
8.96 at 151... my Rampage is a street/strip car and
should be like 2900# with me.. havent been to the track
yet but this engine should be right at 575hp... I built
it to run 10.0 but if it works out right it should
be 9.70-9.80

2405 is crazy light. That's over 1000 lbs lighter than my GTX. I don't even think that's an achievable operating weight for my GTX.

Yeah 1000# would be pretty hard to pull out of a big
old GTX... but it doesnt take much HP to run 8.90s
at 2400#... I just talked to a cam guy tonight and
he can get me another 100+ hp with a different grind
so I will go with it and dyno the engine for the next
owner

63 Plymouth Sport Fury that weighs just over 3700 lbs and its a real street car with all the goodies working like wipers , horn , all lights , radio , heater and so on. All stock glass and interior and stock body. Runs on 92 pump thru full exh and I have to drive it to the track as I do not own a trailer. I like the fact that I can drive it to the track and race just the way I drive it on the street. Its about a 99% street driver that I race about twice a year when I can. I wanted a street car I could drive anywhere with no problems and run 10's just like I drive it as it has hit 10.70's so far. I have alot of fun driving the car and racing it when I can as thats what its all about to me. Driving my muscle car and having alot of fun with it. I cant afford a full race car so this kinda gives me the best of the street and race world. Ron

Holy crap, most of these cars are TANKS. I have a hard time seeing how some of these cars are SO heavy.

My GTX was all steel except for the hood. Factory glass, factory rails and pans. Full interior with a back seat. Ladder bars, coilovers front and rear, with a rack and tubular control arms. Full mild steel cage. Mega-block with B-1 heads. With me aboard and 2 nitrous bottles loaded up, it was 3180 ready to rock and I weighed about 175 at the time. It was 100% streetable and legal. All lights, horn etc worked. Even the dome and glove box lights still worked..........LOL!!!

My 69 Dart is 3260# with me in it. Pump 93 408, 727, Dana with 4.10 gears, wipers, heater, all lights, full interior, kirkey fronts, mild steel roll bar, glass hood and front bumper. Best is 6.57 @ 104 with a 1.38 60' on radials. It's tagged, insured and driven a lot in the summer.

I'm thinking that the lack of OEM front/rear suspension/steering could have something to do with that... LOL!!!
