I am looking to build a temp front-end dolly so I can work on the front suspension. I found some great pictures in the tech archive, but have some questions...

Does anyone else have a better set-up that are not in the tech archives?

Does anyone know the distance between the front K-Frame bolts on A, B and E body frames?

I want to make sure that what I build will work on each of these body styles..

Thanks in advance,
Joe

Well, I don't have exact measurements but I'll tell you what I am doing. I built this set-up for my '68 Charger and I now have it on my '67 GTX. This December I am pulling the engine/K-frame from my '70 Dart and I have found that the A-body is "about" 1 3/4" narrower than the B-body. I will be using a 7/8" spacer on each side with some longer bolts to make it work with the A-body.

Aren't the E and B-body K frames the same?

Stan

Okay, I measured the distance from outer frame to outer frame on a 69 charger and came up with 36 1/4"... Does that seem correct to everyone?

Thanks,
Joe

Great, cutting, welding and turkey...

Starting to sound like a great Thanksgiving!

Thanks again,
Joe
