wanted to know what is the correct coating and is there a place in so CA? also would the door strikers be cad?

I forgot the current favored local place is.

But plating places work in lot sizes. So you need to gather up everything that gets plating on the car in groups of:

black phosphate
"silver" cad
"gold" cad

The harder part is examining the part and finding out which parts get which plating.

Then you have to prep the part good so the plating comes out visually right and visually consistant. Usually that takes fine glass bead blasting.

Hood and trunk latches are a strange animal. You need to decide how ultra stock resto correct you want to go. And I believe Jules was the only guy doing them to the top level and he recently passed away.
