This is part of a local junkyard. Every year this area floods and slowly sinks these once great automobiles deeper into oblivion. Most of the year it's dry but parts are not for sale, period, don't ask....sad

When I lived in Indiana there were a couple junkyards by the Wabash river and pretty much every year the area flooded several times. It was sad to see them become pretty much worthless after a few years.

75-100 maybe. Nothing really rare at this spot. There are more at another location in the same conditions. There is an old C-cab Mack maybe early 20's and a 36 Packard sedan. Nothing is for sale. It's all tied up in a legal mess from 40 yrs ago and now it's all designated as a flood zone so the gov is involved. All we can do is watch them slowly sink into the earth.
