Well I watched the episode in questtion. I can tell you by no means did they pick the fastest cars in Cali. Bode's car is FAST but has a hard time even getting down a prepped track. But when it does it is a 6 second player. Gypsy is certainly a legend. But that is is Hot Street car and our HS Barracuda was faster. Just sayin
I definitely know of several faster cars out there..
One who really wanted to race Chuck.. But was ignored..

Tuff's Pro Mod was towed back for one simple reason. He was out of fuel. They offered to pre Dave's lane too. Dave declined and tgey did their own 100' prep job including burning it in. Pictures have been posted on YB, it is not bs. Tuff's sprayer was a gag made out of stuff from Menard's. In the pictures that have been posted you can clearly see individual lines down the lane. It was not full coverage. Dave had traction control on the truck. Monza already admitted they had it set up. It did not work. It was 38° on both lanes. The little sprinkles were on both lanes too. This has all been posted on YB. I still laugh about the OKC fans (and some drivers) being butthurt about Chi Town doing the hustle, but when Tina hustled Farmtruck and Rican they are quick to point out there are no rules.

I like the show but if they start picking and choosing the races that only make the OKC boys look good it would be real sad. It sounds like none of the chicago stuff will make it to the show. I guess if you want to be on the show you need to let them beat you?

Get out of town with that logic!! 405 don't wanna hear that
I had to miss the episode, it was the girls birthday. How bad did they slaughter the Chicago thing??
Not a word about Chicago.
Lots of yakking about the Cali guys being crybabies though.
We get it dude, you are from Chicago and you think you guys got slighted............but what is there to make a show about.
They stood around and argued a while, they prepped the street a while, it started drizzling rain and Dave knocked the tires off at the hit. Not exactly MUST SEE TV..............Now you can say all day that they are not gonna show it because one of the 405 got beat, or however way you want to spin it. But bottom line, what makes or does not make the telecast is totally up to Discovery, NOT the 405 guys. So was there anything about the Chicago trip potentially appealing enough to the general audience, to devote a show to.......not from what I hear went down.
I heard what went down from some of the 405 guys guys, yes.......BUT, I also have some Chicago guys who know the whole story as well. Their EXACT words to me "I wouldn't show that [Edited by Moparts - Family Friendly Site - Keep it clean] on TV either"....So there you go. What does it mean, NOTHING

All I am saying is they cetainly picked races they had better than a fair chance to win. Come on a twin turbo "3000 hp" car against a 950(maybe)hp all motor car. Sounds like we SHOULd know the outcome. But I suppose anything can happen and I am fairly sure if there were no cameras involved Gypsy and the entire crew I am sure would have asked for different races. Of course I am sure they do all this heads up to keep the audience involved and not confused. Starting adding in the move and lengths and then they will likely not follow it as well. These guys all race alot out here and aint dumb. But TV cameras I am sure play a HUGE role in what goes down. Afterall some people flock to TV cameras like moths to lite.
In the end it is a fun show and beats watching most "reality" TV for me. I have only seen it a few times now but will make sure it is DVR'ed and will watch them when time allows. After all it is almost race season here. Two weeks left.
