Hey gang.. In my continuing saga of preparation of installing my newly bought 426 Hemi into the Daytona, I now focus on motor mounts. In a perfect world I would have an inexhaustable amount of money, but I don't. So, instead of purchasing a complete HEMI k-member, I'm going the aftermarket hemi conversion motor mounts. In a nutshell, it'll be an OEM 426 Hemi in a 440 car. What are ya'll experiences with the Schmaucher and/or Arruzza hemi motor mounts for conversions. Well I used the Schumakers on an A body /6 kmember to big block swap & zero problems. Granted mtr mts ain't rocket science but they did the job & the price was right.

I used the Schumacher kit putting a 528 Hemi in my 69 Satellite with zero problems. I used TTI 2-1/8" headers and everything fell into place, even with factory P.S. I have a 6 Pack lift off hood, so if the engine sits slightly higher than stock as some have said, I did not see it.
Same here, I've used the Schumacher HEMI mounts on 2nd and 3rd gen B bodies with little to no issues, same here regarding the so-called height increase?, didn't see anything of that nature, and I did several vehicles with fresh air/ram air hoods
...but you know how it goes, some people can screw up a spoon feed free lunch!

i used schumacher mounts on mine. arruzza wasn't available at the time i installed my hemi. keep in mind it will raise your engine about 1-1/2" and move it back about 1" from the stock hemi location. if you have a high rise intake it may need some creative solutions for a air cleaner.
from other posts in the past. the arruzza mounts are much closer to stock location for the motor. i guess one side of there mounts is a solid. some people complain about vibrations some don't hear any and like the security of a solid mount.
perception is 90% of reality

Man, I may have to get the Schumachers regardless, Arruzza never answers their phone and there isn't an email contact on their website.. I am sort of uncomfortable with some saying their Schumacher-installed motors, in space, wasn't where it should be....

What was the exact application, HEMI block yes, but what style block/mounting arrangement?, what K member, and what Body application?
TIA

Schumacher here as well. my engine doesn't sit level, and i haven't looked into it as it doesn't cause any problems, but overall they are well engineered, and i would recommend them.
I would see it not sitting level all the time and it would drive me crazy........ I'll keep trying to get a hold of John or the other gent suggested in my thread......

i don't see it. a friend put a level on it and told me, but to me it looks level. unless it's causing problems, good enough!

Who is Al Debevec please? Can I ask a question, if you put a solid left mount in, and leave the rubber in the right side, will much of the vibration still get through?
Al is the Man, he takes V-8 Kmembers and converts them to hemi, they use the original mounts and fit every time. Tim
Does Mega get theirs from Al?
