Determine the stroke of the shock first. After you have figured that you will want 40% of the shaft sticking out at ride height. That will give you 60% for extension. What springs are on the front of the car?

invoice says Qa1 single adjustable shock/ 450# spring. length not specified

If its a bb car then that is close. Might be a bit on the high side but that is ok. Does it have a part number for the shock?

Set the lower nut 1" from the bottom... install everything and if it drops down the the 40% point then its good... if you need more than 1" of adjustment change the springs
