Dodge caravan code p1684. Help ASAP!!!!

I'm in a pickle. Suppose to leave this afternoon with the van. Check engine light came on. Code p1684. I searched online n it says battery voltage caused it on others or battery disconnected. We just put a battery in on Tuesday. Says within last 50 starts. Am I over looking it? Wife says its not down shifting. Help

A 1684 would be present if you disconnected the battery, but I do not believe a 1684 by itself will cause the CEL to come on.
Any other codes present? Are you doing the key dance or using a code reader?

Advance auto read it for her. They said its Code is P1684 power to module disconnected. She says not down shifting

Are you sure that it is not downshifting entirely? Remember it has an adaptive transmission. It has to relearn all of its preferences. My Caravan had some funky shifts after changing the battery out but it eventually learned what was up.
Did they reset the code? If they did and the light went out, all is good. If they did not, it will take a number of key cycles to turn it off.

It's shifting fine. Shop said speed sensor was the fault code on the snap on reader. I watched him run code. It acted up for the wife but I've driven it around town last two hours I bet a good 10-15 miles and no issues. Wife was driving it and it hasn't acted up or slipped shifting. It was drive after battery switched out Tuesday pm I'm guessing close to 50- 75 miles.
