If I order one, will I need a special spacer if I rn it on my 4150 intake?

just a guess but I think the 95mm will clear a 4150 flange. I have the 115mm and with about 20mim worth of work.. with a die grinder the butterfly would clear. the indy intake I just checked.. or you could leave the intake alone and open up a 1in spacer or they sell a spacer or this.. but do you no what size carb you need

Hi Randy,

Thanks for taking the time to fill out our online form.

As you probably already know, the SV1 is the best carb for your program.

Obviously you've already read about the SV1, but here's a link just in case:

http://www.prosystemsracing.com/svseries.html

Our build time is about 4 days as of today.

For your combination the SV1 we would build will flow in the 1100 REAL cfm range, we will adjust it for the final best cfm rating when we are flowing it for your setup.

It typically makes about 10-15 more than a Dominator in your application and 15-35 more than a 4150.

The SV1 for your application is $1250.00 and shipping is only $18.00

If this works for you, just E or call with a credit card number when you're ready and we'll get it built.

Thanks

Patrick James

SV1's have a dual bolt pattern. Either a 4150 or a 4500 pattern.

yes but the butterfly will swing down in to the plenum and hit the front and back of the intake if you try to put one of the large ones on a 4150 intake. but it is a simple fix

I needed to use a 1/2 inch spacer for the plate to clear.Patrick makes a round spacer, but he told me an open square one would be fine.

I am thinking if it needs anything more than a 1/2 spacer I will probably just clearance the intake....Are these carbs any short than a 4150 carb? Article says they are shorter, but I am thinking they are comparing it to a 4500 series carb...

I just checked it... at the vent tubes they are about the same.. at the air clearer rail the sv1 is about 3/16 of inch taller. and the float bowls are about 1/2in higher. over all it is very close to a 4150. I wish I had a 4500 to check it against
