a buddy of mine is looking at a a100 long wheelbase van,it has a 383/727.Any issues with bigblocks in these vans?i was thinking cooling\braking it still has 4w drums.Also any areas that are potential problems in these vans,thanks in advance Cole.

hi mate! I also have a A100 van with a hot 318 V8. Yours is called a A108, longer van. Here's a great website for the parts links and info: www.vintage-vans.com

the aluminum rad is a must with a 383 (or any hot V8) and also sponge foam rubber sealing around the rad surround to capture all the air- plus the correct fan shroud.

The OE drum brakes are crap. Go to www.scarebird.com for front disc swap brakets and parts links for the other needed parts.
