coletrickle OP enthusiast C Joined: Dec 2009 Posts: 275 brisbane,australia	a buddy of mine is looking at a a100 long wheelbase van,it has a 383/727.Any issues with bigblocks in these vans?i was thinking cooling\braking it still has 4w drums.Also any areas that are potential problems in these vans,thanks in advance Cole.

chrisnben super stock Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 1,033 Madison, Wisconsin	hi mate! I also have a A100 van with a hot 318 V8. Yours is called a A108, longer van. Here's a great website for the parts links and info: www.vintage-vans.com the aluminum rad is a must with a 383 (or any hot V8) and also sponge foam rubber sealing around the rad surround to capture all the air- plus the correct fan shroud. The OE drum brakes are crap. Go to www.scarebird.com for front disc swap brakets and parts links for the other needed parts.
