I remember correctly your car is a stick, a drag radial is not the best option for you. Your going to want something Bias ply if you want to get it to hook up. The BFG is far from the popular choice for drag racing. I am surprised they still produce it as I rarely if ever see any on any cars around here but the dragstrip isn't the place to look for them.

My  . From personal experiences, over the years, I've found out that my car will not hook on the street, with or without radials. I have been running, for the past 10 years or so, a 345/55r15 BFG drag radial on the street, but for no other reason than cosmetics.(this tire is no longer made, so I don't know which way I'll go next year when it's time to replace them)?. The big tire just looks good under the car. At the track, I run a bias ply Hoosier slick, 29 12X15. I'll say one thing for sure. You WILL NOT get a stick car, that's making any kind of power, to hook with a radial tire. Again, my 
4 speed street legal. Best time 10.99 @ 124 mph on 93 octane pump gas @ 3926# total weight

There is at least one guy running 6.50's/232 on M/T drag radials(Roger Holder). If they suck it may be because you don't know how to tune your chassis for them.

That will require a minimum of 2 sets of tires. Drag radials are designed to go straight and hook and not necessarily on the street unless the pavement is very clean. Corners and tread life aren't happening as far as hi-performance is concerned.
I have Cooper Cobras on my New Yorker in 275/60/15 with a 493 and compared to the BFG's I tried first they are real sticky. The twist in my axle splines leads me to believe they are doing a good job too.
The BFG's on the other hand would instantly go up in smoke, shift into second and finally hook at about 60 MPH. It will spin the Coopers but it won't blow them off with 3.23's. The car drives like you would expect any normal car to drive as far as stopping and cornering go.
If you rarely see the track I wouldn't waste my time or money on DOT type slicks.

I hope they make them in other sizes in the future. I need 325x50x15's. That should be the second or third most common size for a drag radial. I only ran the BFG's at the track one time and took them off. I think my best 60ft was 1.60. Switched to Mickey's and could tell I had something to work with. I got them down to low 1.40's and now since I switched to double adjustable shocks expect to get them in the 1.30's.
I've spent a lot of time and money figuring out what works if I can save somebody the headaches I went through I will try. BFG's might work on a slower car. High 12's or slower but if you are making any kind of power don't waste your money.
