Nothing like that in my 68 to 74 interchange manual.

Looks like they are '71 b-body 440-4bbl & 440-6bbl 8-3/4" and/or DANA rear springs.

Where did you find this information? Did I miss it in my parts book.

I looked through some b'cast sheets I have.
The last 3 digits are on the b'cast sheets of:

1971 Charger SE 440 4-spd 3.54s 794L/964R
1971 Road Runner 440+6 auto 3.23s open 794L/964R

but not on:

1971 Charger R/T HEMI auto 3.55s S/G 793L/963R
1971 Road Runner 383 auto 3.91s S/G 212L/212R

OK, I don't have the sheet for my car. One of the reasons this is puzzling me is that one of them has a 2" front bushing and the other is a 1.5" bushing. Has anyone ever seen that?

The different size bushings rings a bell from a former thread. There have been a couple of threads on '70 HEMI E-body rear springs, maybe that's where the 2 bushing sizes was asked about. I have a loose pair of '69 795/965 H.D. (HEMI) rear springs, I can check over the weekend to see if there bushings are the same. Is the 2" bushing in the right spring?

The 2" bushing is on the 794 spring which is the 6 leaf sring and I think it is the left spring. The 7 leaf was on the right side.
Thanks for your help

Hi : I live in Roseneath Ontario and have been into Mopars for 35 years. I have a book that tells me your springs came factory on the 70 V Code & Hemi Charger and i have a few pics showing this. My # is 905-352-3666 if you need more info. Fred

Those rear springs were used across the board on '70 Charger R/Ts.

1970 Charger R/T 440 auto 3.23s open 794L/964R
1970 Charger R/T 440 auto 3.23s S/G 794L/964R
1970 Charger R/T SE 440 auto 4.10s 794L/964R w/sunroof
1970 Charger R/T 440 4-spd 4.10s 794L/964R
1970 Charger R/T HEMI 4-spd 3.54s 794L/964R

With that info I'd assume all the 440 & HEMI '70 & '71 b-bodies used those springs. 1969 - NO, 1972 - ??

Like I said, I'm restoring a V code 71 roadrunner and these were on it. Looks like I can assume they belong there. Also, the different size bushings are probably OK unless someone changed out the long spring for whatever reason. Weird, never seen that before.
thanks for the help
