Is that a yes or a no as to whether the pistons can be ordered in a lighter version?
that is KB phone and email...I would think they would know if they can be ordered lightened or not...
I was confused as to your reply, too. It looked you responded as a representative of the company, rather than simply suggesting a way to contact them about his question.

sorry for the confusion as i just copied and pasted from their website..their catalog is also there...
catalog might show if any options are available for lightening...
seems best to get it from the horse mouth...hope that comment does not confuse anyone either..

United was looking at doing custom pistons and machining about a year ago but have decided not to go that route for now. So, no they don't have any custom options. If you need to talk with someone there, ask for Glenn...he's the man and races molars! Brian

Send them to Rebco Machine in Wichita Kansas. They specialize in piston lightening. 316-440-2828. Most pistons that I have sent them come back 30 to 50 Grams lighter. Depends on how fat they are.
For how much $$$? Enough that it would make more sense to consider custom pistons, if no stocking parts fit the application?

Doing a quick check the Icon pistons look a little on the heavy side compared to there competitors....
And somebody here posted some time back that the advertised weights weren't accurate, either, like both a piston and pin checked were each at least 10 grams heavier than the catalog said.
