Yeah, it's an odd request, but here's why. I'd like to inspect a 2012-revision standard-port 72cc Edelbrock Victor to do some comparisons between the later version and the earlier OOB 75cc version I have on hand.
The newer 72cc version is down on flow compared to the original style and I'm curious what I can determine are the differences besides the obvious changes to the combustion chamber.
I don't need to do any mods, just want to perform some basic port & chamber comparisons & measurements, plus possibly run a couple of flow tests on it.
Yes, I could order one from Jeg's or Summit, do my comparisons, then return it since it will still be OOB after I give it the
. But I figured I'd post this first, in case there was someone sitting on a head that I could use w/o going through the buy & return process.

I can tell you the bowl is tiny compared to the early version.
Is the chamber any different between the old and new versions in any way OTHER than the quench area being pulled in closer to the valve seats? I can't tell just from pictures if Edelbrock filled in the plug side anywhere that might also be contributing to the loss in out-of-the-box flow.
