Yeah, it's an odd request, but here's why. I'd like to inspect a 2012-revision standard-port 72cc Edelbrock Victor to do some comparisons between the later version and the earlier OOB 75cc version I have on hand.

The newer 72cc version is down on flow compared to the original style and I'm curious what I can determine are the differences besides the obvious changes to the combustion chamber.

I don't need to do any mods, just want to perform some basic port & chamber comparisons & measurements, plus possibly run a couple of flow tests on it.

Yes, I could order one from Jeg's or Summit, do my comparisons, then return it since it will still be OOB after I give it the . But I figured I'd post this first, in case there was someone sitting on a head that I could use w/o going through the buy & return process.

Thanks,
Brad

Why didn't you just ask me? I can tell you the bowl is tiny compared to the early version.

Oh, OK!

In that case, I have another question: Is the chamber any different between the old and new versions in any way OTHER than the quench area being pulled in closer to the valve seats? I can't tell just from pictures if Edelbrock filled in the plug side anywhere that might also be contributing to the loss in out-of-the-box flow.

Thanks,
Brad
