If you're referring to the "bumper tape treatment", it's an option.

You won't find an M code for this on the fender tag (they were coded on the build sheet). Only road runner fender tags will give you a clue if the car came with the stripes. They were part of the A87 road runner decor package (and A87 was coded on the fender tag at most plants).

And yes, the M75 tape treatment was available on both the road runner and GTX in 71

Is the actual stripe on the bumper and rear valence panel tape or painted?

It's on both the bumper and the valance, and is a pain to line up especially at 11:00 pm the night before a show.

I have a 71 Satellite Sebring. What are the different combinations of stripe kits that were available? Could you get the hood to fender stripe kit with an air grabber hood? My car came with no stripe kits, and I am not making a #s matching car. Were the rear valance stripes offered with any particular packages?

When you tald about availability, are you asking what could be ordered on a Satellite Sebring, or what was available for all the various models? The Sebring didn't have any stripe options available from the factory (Sebring Plus came standard with wheel opening and trunk/roof pinstripes).
